CONCEPTUAL: FOR COMMUNITY DISCUSSION
St. Johns County needs places where people can work as well as places where people can live.
Potential opportunities could include:
How important is each of these to you?
No final plan exists yet. The owner has a clear vision: a master plan that creates jobs, provides public benefit and supports rural-style businesses. He wants to hear from the community before anyone draws final lines.
No industrial plan has been set. The process will look at whether parts of the property could support jobs in light manufacturing, technology or similar work.
That hasn't been decided. It's one of the central questions in this process: how buffers, conservation areas and working lands could separate more intensive uses from the homes nearby.
